Patricia Tsoi-A-Sue is known locally in Long Beach as a blogger and supporter of learning through doing… Making. To her students and her friends, she is Handmade Penguin. On the internet she is known as Squigglemom, an amateur video blogger whose videos have been viewed by many. Her Squigglemom YouTube channel is one of her successful ventures and her writing and video blogging are much sought after for their ability to reach a wide audience. Her education in Computer Science and her engineering experience enable her to embrace a wide variety of technologies.

She is currently working on several endeavors that include:
- Bringing communities that support Making and Maker culture together under a group known as Makersville
- Creating a Maker Space at a local youth facility that will include Video Game Development, Fabrication with a Laser Cutter, Mechanical Toy Making, Electronics and Robotics.
- Creating content for a Homeschool Makerspace
- Bringing Maker content to local Elementary schools
- Creating a Maker Space at a downtown Long Beach facility which houses a community of 500+ artists.
- Ongoing support as board member of Shared Science.
